The booklet contains legal stuff about each song (not very interesting, that is), and a very small B&W picture of each main performer. There is a page of text by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman to explain why this recording happened. At the back of the CD box, there's a color picture of a guy near a motorbike and with a riffle on his shoulders. Very nice. (grin).

This recording is too much pop for me. There are some nice things though. I'm only afraid that do not present the songs as they would be in a musical. There are also some great performers in this recording (Elaine Paige, Michael Ball), but I'm not sure this makes the whole thing acceptable.
