Footlight Records - Ordered 02/25/99 - Received 03/23/99 Starmites opened on Broadway in April, 1989 at the Criterion Center Stage Right. It was nominated for 6 Tony awards. The booklet contains a light synopsis, a track list and a little description of the show and the recording. I'm very happy of this recording. I'd say its style is somehow near A New Brain's style. A high variety of musical genres, a well rhythmed plot and high value performers. On the other hand, I have a trouble to keep a melody in my head, but I think I'll have to listen at it a little more, read the provided lyrics and sing a little along the music to get into it. As a conclusion, I think it's a very nice recording to have.
