Amazon.com - Ordered 02/14/2000 - Shipped 03/29/2000 - Received 04/04/2000 The booklet contains 3 pages with mixed text and colour pictures, where after a short introduction and some credits, John Barrowman explains why each song was selected. There are 2 full page and 4 very small colour pictures of John with other people. The inside and the back of the jewel box also hold big colour pictures of John. I've found this recording to be rather representative of one kind of singing I like in musicals. John Barrowman has a pretty voice, which he handles quite nicely. Maybe he doesn't have as much power as Sean McDermott (see his recording 'My Broadway' and my comments), but he doesn't have that sometimes irritating false notes, and he sings with more natural and sensible way, with less added effects in the voice (sometimes maybe a little flat). The songs selection is intelligent, and I've discovered some songs I was not very familiar with and others I didn't know of at all (Dreamers, A Boy From Nowhere, ...). This is a pleasure in such solo recordings. In a few words, a very nice solo album. Oh, and there is a hidden sequence at the end of the recording where John's mother sings.
