Footlight Records - Ordered 01/25/99 - Received 03/02/99 (taxes problem) Part of a 3CD promotional box set (Promotional is written on the CD), but I think it's about the same as the one I refer to in online shops. The booklet contains 3 big and 1 medium snapshots of the picture film, and miscellaneous backgrounds behind the lyrics. Stephen Schwartz must have faith in the Christian God to make the music of another Christian story (after Godspell and Children Of Eden). The score for this recording fits the animated picture film perfectly: big, inspirated. It is a nice recording to hear at, but in my opinion, there are not enough songs. It's the same for Disney, they put less and less songs in their films. A pitty.
