CD Now - Ordered 09.01.2000 - Shipped 09.08.2000 - Received 09.28.2000 Oliver! opened on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre on January 6, 1963, and ran for 774 performances. Produced by David Merrick and Donald Albery, Album Produced by Joe Linhart and Charles Gerhardt, Directed by Peter Coe, Designed by Sean Kenny, Orchestrations by Eric Rogers, Musical Director Donald Pippin, Technical Supervisor Ian Albery, Lighting by John Wyckham. Recorded in RCA Victor's Music Center of the World, Hollywood, California, on August 19, 1962. The booklet contains 4 big B&W pictures of the show, and reproductions of original playbill and advertisements for the first productions and for the cast recording. There is also a 2 pages text by Bill Rosenfield, plus a 2 pages synopsis, and a big drawing from Ed Fisher.
