The packaging is nice: a box containing the CD box and the libretto, the libretto containing a few photos, notes by John Adams, a description of the characters and the songs (used as a synopsis).
This cast recording is fantastic. It's a set of wonderful voices with a set of wonderful songs. Moving from pure Jazz to Rock to other kinds of musics, the score is incredible. At first listening, it was nearly unbearable, because it required a little attention to be understooden. Now I've played that CD lots of times, I'm completely addicted.
