The booklet contains 2 big and 2 medium B&W pictures of the performers either on stage or performing in the studio. There is a 3 and a half page text about the show from Bill Rosenfield and a 5 pages synopsis.

Strangely, I found this recording a little more attractive than the 1995 cast recording, which is more complete, maybe more modern sounding, but sometimes lacks the spontaneity of this original recording. For example, Coffee Break is much better here, more crazy, as I think it should. I'd say that I prefer the vocal performances of the 1995 Broadway Cast, but vocal performances are not all, and what goes through the voice may be the most important thing. I'd say the only advantages of the 1995 Broadway Cast are that it is more complete, with some dialogs and music that are not on the OBC, and it has rather better vocals.
