The show opened April 15, 1975, at the Public Theatre, in New York; it moved July 25, 1975 to the Shubert Theatre and ran for 6137 performances.

The booklet contains 2 big and 6 medium B&W pictures of the cast members either on stage or in the studio. There is a three apges and a half text by Marc Kirkeby about the history of the show, somehow a synopsis and reissues notes.

My opinion: well, that's a classic, but I personnaly do not find much songs I'd like to sing myself in this recording, even if there are a number of very entertaining ones. As a conclusion, I'd say it's rather good, but also rather old.
