The booklet contains a nice description of the legend of Calamity Jane and how it was adapted to the musical movie. Then how the film was adapted to stage. There is also a synopsis and little B&W photos of the performers.
Too fresh in my ears to give an opinion. It seems to me that the style of this musical is somehow close to The Most Happy Fella's style.
