Amazon.com - Ordered 04/08/99 - Shipped 04/14/99 - Received 04/24/99 Director: Arthur Laurents Recorded at Chelsea Sound, New York City on December 4, 1987 The booklet contains a one page and a half synopsis, and a big color picture of the cast. This is a kind of musical is really appreciate. At first listening, without knowing anything of the plot (and actually without listening at the lyrics), I knew I would like it. I think that I even knew that when I heard the very first track (So Many Nights). I've got two names that jump to my mind for style comparison (of the music and the singers way of performing): A New Brain and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. I'd say these are fresh modern sounding musicals, not over featured, and it's a great pleasure to hear such albums. I'd say I prefer A New Brain for the foolishness of the story, and for the length of the recording: this one is a little short.
